2025 Indiana Invasive Species Conference
Purdue Extension and the Indiana Invasive Species Council invite you to join us on September 4-5 at the South Shore Welcome Center in Hammond, IN. Come and learn about how experts, professionals, and volunteers manage invasive species in Indiana, with a special focus on the Great Lakes region. Talks cover a wide variety of topics on invasive species management techniques in both aquatic and terrestrial environments.
Registration fees:
- Early bird registration: $80 per person (until July 20th)
- General registration: $95 per person (July 21st - August 15th)

Purdue FNR's own Henry Quesada, Lenny Farlee and Cameron Wingren and Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant 's Dr. Katie O'Reilly. Henry will be talking about Ecological, Social, and Economic Consequences of Invasive Species on Forests and Forest Products, while Lenny will cover Control Techniques for Invasive Wood Plant Species. Katie will share about Preventing Aquatic Invasive Species in the Great Lakes and about What We Have Learned in Thirty Year of Zebra Mussels in the Great Lakes. Cameron will talk about Emerging Technology and Methods for Invasive Tree/Shrub Mapping.
