September Corn & Soybean Outlook Update
Purdue ag economists Michael Langemeier, Nathanael Thompson and James Mintert hosted a free webinar on September 13. The team discussed the corn and soybean outlook following release of USDA’s September Crop Production and World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) reports and provided implications for 2021 crop marketing strategies. Updates on crop conditions, corn and soybean export prospects, ethanol demand, ending stock estimates, and corn and soybean basis along with farm income projections were also discussed.
