Erasmus+ Project
Faculty members and students in the Purdue University College of Agriculture (CoA) are invited to express interest in participating in an Erasmus+ Learning Mobility Project with the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA), Slovakia, during the 2026–2027 academic year.
The project will support one CoA faculty member for a short-term teaching visit and one undergraduate or graduate student for a learning or research experience at SUA.
- Faculty Mobility: Teaching and Academic Collaboration
One CoA faculty member will receive support for a visit to SUA of up to 12 days, including travel days. During the visit, the faculty member must deliver a minimum of five days of teaching and academic engagement, with 2–3 hours of instruction each day. Activities may include lectures, seminars, and discussions on topics related to the faculty member’s area of expertise.
Faculty members are also encouraged to visit research laboratories, meet with SUA faculty, and explore opportunities for short- and long-term research collaboration and academic partnerships.
The visit will be governed by a faculty mobility agreement. Travel expenses and a modest daily stipend will be provided through the Erasmus+ mobility program, subject to the applicable funding provisions.
- Student Mobility: Learning and Research Experience
One undergraduate or graduate student from the CoA will receive support for a visit to SUA of up to three months. The student will participate in an academic or research experience through one or more of the following activities:
- Enrolling in regular courses or special-topics classes offered at SUA.
- Participating in research activities in an SUA faculty member’s laboratory.
The student’s visit will be governed by a learning agreement for studies. Travel expenses and a modest daily stipend will be provided through the Erasmus+ mobility program, subject to the applicable funding provisions.
