INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS

The College of Agriculture hosts a career fair in the fall and spring semesters. More than 250 companies attend annually. Students and alumni are provided the opportunity to learn about their organizations, submit resumes, and interview for permanent or internship positions. 

Freshmen and sophomore students are welcome to join upper-level students at the career fairs to learn about careers and develop the art of professional conversations very early.

Building a presence with Purdue Agriculture is a year-round process which includes taking the time to build the important relationships on campus that will pay off in excellent candidates to consider. COA students need to know who you are. Informa​tion Sessions and Interview Visit

To schedule an information session through the College of Agriculture Career Services Office, contact  Lela Mixon at 765-494-8470 or AgJobs@purdue.edu.

Your session date and time will need to be scheduled first, then a room will be reserved to accommodate the session in the Steve and Sandra Hageman Center for Student Achievement and Leadership located in the Agricultural Administration Building or a building nearby.

If you are conducting on-campus interviews, your information session will be attached to your interview visit. Flyers can be distributed if requested. You can send via e-mail a copy of an already-prepared flyer or one can be prepared for you.

  • Special equipment needs: Please inform us in advance if you will be in need of special equipment or will be sending literature to use at your session.
  • Refreshments: Refreshments will be your responsibility. Food is not allowed in some conference rooms. Please inform us when setting your date if you will be serving refreshments.
  • Refreshments Vendors: You can use the Purdue Memorial Catering or there are several off-campus vendors that will deliver. Contact Purdue Memorial Catering at Purdue Memorial Union Catering & Events​.
