Bumble Bee Workshop | Southeastern Indiana Purdue Agriculture Center
JOIN US for a workshop to be trained as a volunteer to survey, assess habitat, and photograph bumble bees as part of a state-wide citizen science bee monitoring program. Learn everything there is to know about bumble bees from Hannah Kernen (Purdue Graduate Student) and nationally recognized bee expert, Dr. Rob Jean, Senior Entomologist at Environmental Solutions & Innovations.
THE WORKSHOPS ARE FREE to participants, but volunteers are required to cover their own travel, lodging, and food expenses. No prior experience is required, only a love for pollinators and the ability to take a clear picture of bees in nature. Volunteers may attend the workshop at any one of the four locations, or access online training materials.
