American Citizen Planner - 12 Week Fall Session

American Citizen Planner – Indiana provides training to Indiana citizen planners who currently serve or plan to serve on area or advisory plan commissions. Registration opens September 1st, 2025 for a 12-week course. 

The program is hosted by a local Purdue Extension educator for either a county or a region. Participants will understand the roles and responsibilities of public officials, community residents, and developers in the planning process and the tools and processes planners use to implement comprehensive plans.
