On April 27th, 2023, TruVision health LLC announced the recall of the list of dietary supplement products. The recall is due to the potential presence of unapproved dietary ingredients, hordenine and/ or octodrine/DMHA (1,5-Dimethylhexylamine), within the products.
Hordenine is a dietary ingredient that stimulates negative side effects like increased heart rate, high blood pressure, jitteriness, nervousness, nausea, vomiting or insomnia. Similarly, octodrine/DHMA acts as a stimulant, which causes negative side effects like rapid heart rate, myocardial contractility, and pain threshold.
The recalled products were sold online at Truvy.com to retail customers throughout the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Australia, Ireland and England. Consumers who purchased these products should immediately stop using them, and discard or exchange the products to the store of purchase for a full refund. The recall began after consumers reported chest pain, chills, diarrhea, dizziness/lightheadedness, fatigue, headache, high blood pressure, jitters, nausea, sweating, etc. from customers.
For any questions or concerns, customers can ask questions regarding this recall by contacting TruvyCustomer Support at (855) 213-8788, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-6:00 pm, MDT.
