Wabash Riverfest
Come attend the Annual Wabash Riverfest!
Wabash Riverfest has been celebrating the Wabash River since 2001, and is Greater Lafayette's annual celebration of the longest free-flowing river in the eastern United States. Learn about and enjoy Indiana's Wabash River through canoe races, conservation exhibits, games and activities, 5K, a paddling trip, a kids run and many other activities. We are excited to also share new activities this year like kids fishing, nature photography class, mermaid story time, and more! Wabash Riverfest is specifically designed to enhance appreciation of Greater Lafayette's most-prized natural resource, the Wabash River.
There is no shortage of activities, great music to listen to, and delicious local food. Come out and watch the canoe races, dance to the music, rock climb, or watch the raptor presentation!
Visit Wabash Riverfest for a complete schedule of events and more info. Make sure to come see the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources (FNR) and the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) during your visit. Plan to spend the day enjoying this FREE event, that has something for everyone!
