Promoting Reproducible Science: How to manage and share your research data

February 12, 2024 | 2:00 to 3:30 PM | WALC 2088

Reproducibility of research as a generally recommended scientific research practice has been drawing attention from almost all federal funding agencies. The 2023 NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy has specific compliance requirements for research data collected using NIH funds.

Join us on February 12th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in WALC 2088 for our first Open Science workshop this semester featuring Dr. Chao Cai. Dr. Cai will provide participants with knowledge and hands-on experience for managing quantitative data, in order to maximize research reproducibility. During the session, he will cover the principle of FAIR data, as well as the practices of properly sharing research data using a data repository.
