Purdue professor to testify at congressional hearing

Kevin Solomon, assistant professor of agricultural and biological engineering, will testify at 10 a.m. Tuesday (March 12) before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Research and Technology during a hearing on "Engineering Our Way to a Sustainable Bioeconomy."

Solomon’s testimony will focus on the implications of his research at the intersection of engineering, synthetic biology, and the microbiome. He will be joined by other experts from industry and academia who also will be testifying.
