On January 25, 2023, Almondy announced the recall of Almondy Chocolate cake with Daim due to the presence of foreign objects. The products were only sold at IKEA stores.
The product is sold in 14.1 oz (400g) red package with a large “Daim” in the front. Consumers can also identify the recalled products by checking the bar code L2140 and the best date before: Nov.18.2023. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products are urged to dispose of them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
Contamination of foreign materials in food may lead to acute injury or dental injury. Consumers should dispose of them immediately or return the products to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund.
