Consumers can easily identify the recalled products by checking the lot number 12262023 and the UPC code 074410341169, which can be found on the package. The recalled products were distributed to restaurants and retail stores in AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, Il, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products can return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
While no allergic reactions have been reported so far, people with sesame seed allergies are at risk of developing itchy eyes and nose, rashes, vomiting, and in rare cases, life-threatening symptoms.
