Helados Mexico and La Michoacana Products Recalled Due to Presence of Undeclared Milk

helados-michoacan-productOn July 25, 2025, Tropicale Foods announced a recall of certain Helados Mexico and La Michoacana products. This recall is due to the product containing milk, which is not declared by the common name on the label.

The product was distributed at retail locations nationwide. To date, one consumer illness has been reported. However, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could potentially have a serious or life threatening allergic reaction to this product.

Consumers with an allergy or sensitivity to milk are urged to dispose of the affected product. For any questions or concerns, consumers can call 909-563-3090 between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
