Deluxe Mixed Nuts Recalled Due to Potential Salmonella Contamination

On December 5, 2025, Mellace Family Brands California, Inc announced a recall of Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted. This recall is due to possible Salmonella contamination.  

Affected products were sold in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C between November 3 and December 1, 2025. The two affected product sizes were the 11.5 oz and the 34 oz. The 11.5 oz products were packaged in a plastic bag with a UPC code of 077890421352, a lot code of 58171, and a best by date of August 10, 2026. The 34 oz products were packaged in a plastic tub with a UPC code of 077890421314, a lot code of 58041, and a best by date of July 28, 2026.

No illnesses have been reported to date with the consumption of these products. Salmonella can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain in healthy persons and can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and people with weakened immune systems.
