Farm Bill 2020 Decision Making Workshops
Take part in a workshop focused on helping you to make your Farm Bill decision for 2020 by the sign-up deadline of March 15th. Each workshop provides farmers information on the 2018 Farm Bill choices. The workshops will include presentations from Kaitlin Myers, State Agricultural Program Specialist from USDA’s Indiana FSA, and by James Mintert and Michael Langemeier, from Purdue’s Center for Commercial Agriculture. During lunch, Indiana Farm Bureau’s Megan Ritter will make a presentation focused on Indiana Farm Bureau’s Health Plan. Click on the agenda tab above for more details about the workshop.
The 2020 Farm Bill Decision Making Workshop will be held in Vincennes, Indiana on February 5th and in Huntington, Indiana on February 12th. Register now!
Can’t make it to one of the workshops? View our online Farm Bill resources! The recorded version of our January 16th webinar where we discussed all of the program options is there; and since that webinar we’ve received lots of questions about the ARC-IC program so we recorded an additional video that focuses just on ARC-IC to help clarify where it fits best. Also available for download are the slidedecks and a link to the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet farm bill decision tool.
USDA’s sign-up deadline is March 15th, so make sure you take the time to attend one of the Farm Bill workshops or view our online Farm Bill resources.
