Data Driven Agriculture Webinar Series

During the Spring 2021 semester, Purdue Agriculture hosted a weekly webinar series featuring experts in data science and digital agriculture at Purdue University. Each Thursday from February through May, the Data Driven Agriculture webinars explored ways digital agriculture and data science can impact agriculture today and into the future.

“Building on the momentum of last fall’s digital agriculture webinars, we wanted to highlight not only how data is being used today but also explore its future potential,” said Dennis Buckmaster, agricultural and biological engineering professor and Dean’s Fellow of Digital Agriculture at Purdue University. “In this series, researchers from across the College of Agriculture – and beyond – showcased how they are using data to improve crop, livestock and forest management decisions, increase produce safety, quickly identify disease outbreaks in livestock, and much more.”
