Dr. Feng recently visited Liaocheng University. The purpose of the trip was to give a presentation about food safety issues with undergraduate students, faculty members in Food Science, and the deans of the College of Agriculture.
Some of the topics that they talked about involved overviews of food safety challenges in the United States and globally, the “Food Safety Modernization Act” and its implications for the food system, and the group discussed Dr. Feng’s research and extension program back at Purdue.
