Why did you come to Purdue: Growing up in West Lafayette, Purdue was a natural choice for me. The College of Agriculture is tremendous here, and Purdue has always been home to me!
Favorite Purdue tradition: Listening to and watching Purdue’s All-American Marching Band on gameday.

Favorite thing about CoA: I greatly appreciate how tight-knit the College of Ag is. Everyone is friendly and supportive. There is also an abundance of opportunities available to take advantage of in Purdue’s College of Ag.

Three biggest accomplishments at Purdue:
- Being on the Purdue NAMA team and having the opportunity to play a part in cultivating the team’s camaraderie
- Being named one of the top five students in my class during my freshman, sophomore and junior years
- Building personal relationships with people on campus
Something about you that is not listed on your resume: I love spending my free time outdoors!
Future plans: I intend to pursue a career in the financial sector of agriculture.
Advice for underclassmen:
- In every encounter you have with someone, make them feel loved and respected.
- Say “yes” to opportunities and absorb as many experiences as you can. But also remember that your resume will not be etched into your headstone. Don’t forget to enjoy your college experiences.
The biggest takeaway from Purdue: Every situation, whether positive or negative, is an opportunity to learn and grow. We must be advocates for ourselves to fully reap the benefits of every situation we encounter.
