Agricultural Economics Facilities Overview

Together, these spaces are designed to facilitate productive interactions, enhance collaboration, and support the diverse needs of our faculty, staff, and students.

The Beck Executive Education Learning Center, located on the 7th-floor penthouse of the Krannert Building, offers a premier venue for hosting graduate conferences, meetings, and events. This state-of-the-art facility, made possible by a generous gift from the Beck Family, features a spacious 1,233-square-foot conference room, which can accommodate 50-60 attendees depending on the chosen configuration. In addition to the main conference area, the center includes dedicated catering space and four flexible breakout rooms, providing ample opportunity for diverse event setups. The center’s location near two parking garages ensures convenient access for both local and national events held on campus.

The Hybrid Conference Room (Krannert 661), renovated in 2024, is equipped with advanced AV technology, making it ideal for both in-person and hybrid meetings. The room features dual screens to facilitate seamless collaboration, with seating for 32-42 individuals. Located just one floor below the Beck Executive Education Learning Center, this room serves as an excellent space for more focused meetings and collaborative sessions.

The Farm Credit Mid-America Student Advising Center in Krannert 566 is a versatile, 1,400-square-foot space designed to support students, their families, and academic advisors. The center offers an open, welcoming environment with soft seating for informal gatherings, includes three breakout rooms, two of which were sponsored by Keystone Cooperative and Co-Bank, that can be used for advising or quiet study. The advising offices are conveniently located adjacent to the center, providing direct access to academic support and career guidance for undergraduate students.
