Why did you come to Purdue: I have been a Boilermaker fan for as long as I can remember. My older brother attended Purdue, and after seeing how much the university impacted his life, I knew I wanted to make Purdue my home as well. Agriculture has always been a huge part of my life, and with Purdue’s College of Agriculture being ranked #3 in the nation, I knew it would be the perfect place for me to grow both personally and professionally.

Favorite Purdue tradition: My favorite Purdue tradition is the beginning of every basketball game. The energy inside Mackey Arena and the atmosphere created by the Paint Crew make the experience unlike anything else and truly showcase why it is amazing to be a Boilermaker.

  1. Meeting my two best friends, Reagan and Jenna, in AGEC 296 my first year.
  2. Winning the National Agri-Marketing Association Competition in 2024 with my Purdue team.
  3. Joining Delta Gamma Sorority and having Annie Schuler become my big.
  4. Being one of the 67th Grand Prix Scholarship Recipients in 2024
  5. Going to a Parker McCollum concert in Elliot Hall

Favorite thing about CoA: The community. Everyone is passionate about supporting one another, and there is a strong network of students, faculty and advisors who genuinely want to see you succeed. It feels like a close-knit family while providing opportunities to build lifelong connections.

Three biggest accomplishments at Purdue: 

  1. Becoming National Agri-Marketing Association Champions in 2024 in Kansas City.
  2. Being Top 5 Outstanding Student: freshman, sophomore and junior year.
  3. Being Vice President of Programming for Delta Gamma 2025-26.

Something about you that is not listed on your resume: I love being at the lake and spending time with my family!

Future plans: I plan to go back and work for my family agriculture business, Northern Star Seed, LLC, and work in sales!

Advice for underclassmen: My advice to underclassmen would be to spend as much time with your friends as possible and say yes to every opportunity that comes your way. When you look back on your college experience, you won’t remember every detail from a class or that one difficult exam—you’ll remember the people who surrounded you, supported you, and helped shape you into the person you became. Make memories, build relationships, and embrace every moment because those are the things that will matter most.

The biggest takeaway from Purdue: My biggest takeaway from Purdue is that you learn just as much outside the classroom as you do inside it. Getting involved and finding what you’re passionate about can completely shape your college experience. Purdue has taught me that no matter where you come from or what your background is, there is always a place for you here and a community ready to support you.
