Why did you come to Purdue: Coming to Purdue was a family legacy for me. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, mom, dad and brother all attended Purdue. However, the main reason I chose Purdue for myself was due to it being ranked as one of the top agricultural schools in the nation.

Favorite thing about CoA: My favorite thing about the College of Ag is probably how inclusive it is. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you can meet people with all sorts of backgrounds. Everyone welcomes you in, from advisors, professors and students, and you truly find your second home.

Three biggest accomplishments at Purdue: 

  1. Dean’s List
  2. Having the opportunity to explore so many internship options that have led to so many networking opportunities
  3. Connections

Something about you that is not listed on your resume: I raise sheep and goats alongside my dad!

Future plans: I hope to stay connected in the livestock industry through a career in sales and marketing. I also intend to continue raising sheep. 

Advice for underclassmen: Take advantage of every moment. But stay true to yourself. 

The biggest takeaway from Purdue: Anything is possible.
