Larrison shared, “I gained a lot of confidence in myself and my peers to share information about our generation in a positive and constructive way. We answered various questions and were asked to share our personal experiences. It was great to feel so valued in each of our responses, and it’s clear that the industry cares about what we are looking for in careers. I loved learning about the people there and hearing their input on different topics as well!”

Voll added, “The most enjoyable part of speaking on this panel was the opportunity to share my thoughts with such an attentive audience. I was able to speak for myself and on behalf of my peers during this panel, sharing our thoughts and opinions on how to cultivate a work environment that we are inclined to work in. It was super enjoyable to know that industry professionals value our input and are working to enhance their environments for the benefit of Generation Z. Having participated in this experience, I was able to gain a deeper appreciation for the agricultural industry and the leaders who are working to welcome our generation into the workforce. I also gained a better understanding of the views my peers have on work environments within the ag industry. Overall, it was a great experience that I am super thankful to have been a part of!”
