The 92nd Purdue Farm Management Tour was hosted on July 10 by Purdue University’s Center for Commercial Agriculture (CCA). Farmers, producers, agribusiness professionals and industry partners from across Indiana, including some from neighboring states, gathered in Harrison County, where they visited two family operations that provided insight into how their differing approaches are building resilient, sustainable businesses.

Sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance and Farm Credit Mid-America, the annual tour offered attendees an inside look at two distinct operations—Jmax Cattle Company and Jones Family Farm—revealing a common thread: successful farm businesses are built by families who embrace change, support one another’s interests and continuously seek opportunities to improve.
